The other day, Kristen and I had a 'tourist day'. On our way to Old Town Alexandria, this German Gourmet caught Kristen's eye and we were pleasantly surprised to find a quaint shop filled with yummy baked goods, all kinds of German grocery products and most of all marzipan (which isn't shown but I assure you is there.)

Then we detoured to Eden Center which was very interesting to see.

It's a strip mall with all Asian shops.

Then off to Old Town Alexandria where I was applauded by three guys in a car for my parallel parking manouevres. We walked around and had a bite for lunch and then
