Tourist Time!

Saturday, we went to MeadowLark Botanical Gardens. I like it because it seems very natural rather than a bunch of Disneyworld like flowerbeds like Buchart Gardens. (By the way, the park near Buchart Gardens is lovely and natural looking...and free.)

Sunday afternoon, we went to the Natural History Museum where we saw Adam's hamster:
and other mammals:

This tiger was up above, flying through the air...

Also, soaring above were these Manatees:

Then we passed the "Castle" as we made our way across to the Freer.
This kiosk between the Castle and the Freer was too picturesque to pass up.
and a glance at the Capitol...

and back through the Natural History to get to the car.

Adam's Birthday!

While Adam was at school, Jessie and her friend Vina (sp) came over and decorated his bedroom. Jessie also filled his car with balloons at work:

Adam and Jessie just got back from PF Changs and birthday cake that looks like a car that Jessie made.
Jessie got Adam a Chinese Hamster with a fancy abode.

A New Craft

I had fun learning a new craft at my friend's house.
In Germany, they take decorative napkins and use varnish to adhere them to objects. The paint used is acrylic craft paint.
