Today, some of our across the street neighbors came over to welcome us to the neighborhood. Evan, the eldest daughter of 10 years is an accomplished baker, brought a delightful plate of cookies. We learned more about the area and were offered all sorts of help from her mom, Jennifer.
We also discovered more diamond shaped mullions which had been taken out of the dining room window. We put them back and are thrilled they survived their exile to the basement.
Demolition started today. I haven't looked. But they worked hard all day and we are looking forward to a new Master Suite in a few weeks.
We were also delighted to find cards from Bret's parents and my aunt and uncle in the mail.
I had a fun chat with Gina and we are trying to coordinate a visit. We discovered the brochure is hard to find here, so if you are interested, you can find it in the archives: June 2008.

We signed up for an alarm system which will be installed on Saturday. Adam got the cars inspected. On the computer, I made a map of the area with anticipated errand spots highlighted.
July 4th, tomorrow, Adam will take us to the car show in town.
Now, I must get on with my online shopping for 4th of July sales...
